Radon SPIRE 8.0

The classic 105 road bike, but a little different – that’s what you’ll find on our SPIRE 8.0. The Shimano 105 Di2 shifts its 2×12 gears here electronically, marking Shimano’s entry into wireless shifting, whereby it is in no way inferior to its higher-priced siblings in terms of shifting comfort.

Highlights of the SPIRE 8.0

The compact crank in combination with the 11-34 tooth cassette lets you pedal up every climb effortlessly. The lightweight SPIRE carbon frameset provides plenty of comfort for many hours in the saddle and offers you a sporty, but not too stretched geometry. The cockpit and seat post from the Newmen shelf are ergonomically optimized and guarantee a comfortable position even on long laps. For fast acceleration or sprinting against your rival, we have fitted the model with lightweight and torsionally stiff Newmen SL R.32 wheels in combination with Continental Grand Sport Race tires, which are suitable for everyday use and roll well. The UD-Carbon Finish

It is a common feature of UD carbon that you can see individual layers of carbon under the glossy or matt clear coat – each frame is unique due to the manufacturing process by hand and is therefore one of a kind. The fibers are arranged in parallel during this manufacturing process, so there is no need for a specially laid « visible layer » or carbon layer.
